BEC考前答疑遇长句，先划分

我在bec高级第三册真题第三套题中有两个句子不明白什么意思，求教大家。希望会的考友指点下，谢谢。
　　第一个句子是：That it took a firm of consultants to help devise the programme is perhaps a sad reflection of the danger of corporate thinking becoming inflexible.
　　第二个句子是：The shareholders' support of gm's strategy to become more outwordlooking and innovative is something of a luxury, though in the long run success would convince even the most sceptical shareholders.

　　在看到这种长句时首先不要惧怕，将其主谓宾成分画出，如上变为That is a sad reflection of the danger.
　　这个再翻译很好理解，这个是一个危险信号（主干）。但要确切了解含义，可以问自己，什么这个呢？看括号中的句子，哦，是公司聘用了一个咨询机构去帮忙设计项目。再看第二个括号内句子，公司的思维已经过时了。所以连起来，这句话可以理解为：公司聘用了一个咨询机构去帮忙设计项目是公司的思维已经过时的危险信号。

　　将其主谓宾成分画出，如上变为The shareholders' support of gm's strategy is something of a luxury,though in the long run success convince the most sceptical shareholders.
　　参考翻译：股东们对GM的策略的支持看起来似乎很奢侈，但是长远发展上看，成功会最终说服那些持有怀疑态度的人的。这句关键词在Though之后，出题主要在"但是"以后的句子，Long Run也是关键词需要用铅笔在下方画线提醒自己。
