在小学六年级的时候，我们的英语课就换了一个老师了。

第一天课上，我们就犯了难了。以前三四五年级的英语老师，虽说上课也是用英语，但并不是很多，他们上课讲话大多都还是用汉语的，我们也都能听得懂。然而，忻老师上课讲话，叽里咕噜一大串的英语，听都听不懂，所以上课也只能是茫然地跟着点头摇头。而忻老师讲课的速度也是非常的快，所以，前几堂课老师究竟讲了什么，我一点都不知道。
为此，家长还给老师打过电话，而得到的答复却是：“这是我的教学方法，请不要打断！”
然而，在一段时间后，却令我彻底的改变了对忻老师的看法。
首先，他上课活泼，把课堂上的气氛搞的十分的活跃，令我们都提起来精神上课。其次，在听惯了他的英语后，我们也并不是特别的觉得听不懂了，反而是凭借着自己的理解，去琢磨老师话语的意思。渐渐地，我们已经能够听得懂一些老师上课经常说的英语了。
忻老师上课总爱出一些“洋相”，令我们捧腹大笑。但是，老师的“洋相”是为了让我们更好地记住这些应该注意的东西。记得有，老师在将音标的时候，故意拿粉笔在黑板上斜着摩擦，发出“吱吱”的刺耳的声音。我们全部都大叫着捂住了耳朵。然而，就是这令人讨厌的“吱吱”声，却令我永久地记住了这两个音标。至今，他们的读音我还很深刻的记忆着。
还有，忻老师没收了一个同学带来的一把小刀。我至今还记得，那一节课是英语考试。我们都在底下很认真地做着卷子。忻老师则是无聊地站在讲台上，我们的讲台是木头做的。于是忻老师就是很令人惊讶地把刀子从远处抛向讲台，然后准确地插入讲台木板里面。那样子，看得人心惊胆战。
过了一会儿，那个拿了小刀的同学便是上台交卷。忻老师看见了，便是拿起那把小刀，吓唬那个同学说：“要不你来玩玩？”那名同学吓得一步一后退地慢慢地退回了座位。
后来，忻老师告诉我们，他之所以那样子，就是为了警示我们，不要把这种锋利的东西带到学校里来，忻老师当时说的话，我至今还记得。
现在，上了中学了，我和忻老师也就分别了……
