Description

Job Description: As the application software engineer in tablet platform integration and validation team, you need to develop the test application for either internal team and external customers. Responsibilities may include (but not limited as following): Develop the Android and Linux application; Work with other engineers to figure out the root cause of the issues .You should write your technical documents including flowchart, software description and structure. Overall, the goal is to resolve/fix existing or potential bugs for an excellent business result.

Qualifications


- You should possess a Bachelor or a Master in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering or Software Engineering.

- Your should be available to work for at least 3 days a week.

- deep understanding of software stack from driver, FW through middleware, codec, OS levels to higher level software frameworks on Linux based tablet platform

- Solid experience of software development and integration under Linux*/Android, low layer driver or Linux kernel development experience would be a plus

- Familiarity with Android SDK and NDK development and open-source coding standards. Android Applications on the Google Android Market is highly plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills, work experience on tablet/phone system level debug is highly preferred
- Proven verbal and written communication skills in both , Dynamic presentation skills

- Tolerance of ambiguity
- Self-discipline and self-direction, able to work with multitasking
