岗位说明：
《Landscape and Urban Planning》是由知名学术出版社Elsevier出版的城市研究领域国际期刊，由华东师范大学国家“”特聘教授象伟宁博士任该期刊共同主编，并于华东师范大学设立主编办公室。自2011年9月1日起，该主编办公室需要编辑助理1名，特此，自即日起招聘，直至合适人员入选为止。

岗位介绍：
（1）全职工作于华东师范大学闵行校区；（2）协助主编处理作者投稿；（3）负责与作者及审稿专家的联络；（4）协助开展与期刊相关的学术拓展活动；（5）处理主编办公室的日常工作。

人员要求：
（1）需具有硕士或以上学位，凡在地理学、景观生态学、林学、景观规划学、环境科学、城市与区域规划方向获得学位者将被优先考虑；（2）有较强的英文写作及口头交流能力；（3）有基本的研究训练，了解学术出版流程，能熟练使用专业学术出版数据库，如Scopus，Web of Science等；（4）有较强的组织协调、团队沟通及行政管理能力。此外，熟练掌握统计分析软件、图表处理（如Access，Excel）及制图软件（如ArcGIS，Google Maps）者也将被优先考虑。

Editorial Assistant for Co-Editor-in-Chief’s office of Landscape and Urban Planning in East China Normal University

Landscap and Urban Planning, an international journal published by Elsevier, invites applications and nominations for an editorial assistant in its Shanghai office, located in East China Normal University, beginning September 1st, 2011. The assistant reports directly to the Co-Editor-in-Chief, Prof. Wei-Ning Xiang in the Shanghai office.

Tasks include:
l working full time at Minhang Campus of East China Normal University, Shanghai, China;
l assisting the Co-Editor-in-Chief in manuscript handling;
l communicating with authors and reviewers;
l developing and managing outreach programs for young scholars;
l and managing the daily operation of Co-Editor-in-Chief’s office.

Basic requirments include:
l an advanced degree (master’s, or doctorate), preferably in geography, landscape ecology, forestry, landscape planning, environmental science, urban and regional planning;
l excellent English written and oral communication skills;
l familiarity and experience in research publishing, and proficiency in use of research databases (e.g., Scopus, Web of Science);
l and organizational and work administration skills.

Preferred requirments include:
l academic background in geography, landscape ecology, forestry, landscape planning, environmental science, and urban and regional planning;
l and familiarity with basic statistical analysis packages, spreadsheet programming (e.g., Excel, Access), mapping programs (e.g., ArcGIS, Google Maps).

l three English writing samples (preferably scholarly work published or in progress);
