Incorrect English:

“The crops this year are better than the crops last year, in particular the corn and the wheat. ”

解释:

“easier”和 “better” 这两个词已经表达了 “比较”的含义,所以上面句子中的“more”就不必要了。让我们看更多的例句:

“He is taller than me.”

“Your dictionary is thicker than mine. Does that mean it’s better, too?”

“That female elephant looks happier than the male .”

注意:

有些词在表达对比含义时没有其他形式,因此,我们不得不用 “more”。

Example:
