　　The shares， with a sale price of between US$6 and US$7.40， will be floated on the Sao Paulo stock exchange on December 16.每股单价在6美元到7.40美元之间，将于12月16日在圣保罗股票交易市场发行。

　　Sixty percent of the total shares to be sold will be issued as preferential shares （shares that hold no voting rights） and the remaining 40% will be from the current shareholders of the company Portugal Telecom （30%） and Folhapar （10&）， holding company for the assets of the Frias family， which controls Brazilian newspaper Folha de S？o Paulo.待出售股票的60%为优先股（持股人没有投票权），剩下的40%将来自该公司目前的股东：葡萄牙电信（30%），Folhapar（10%）。该公司是Frias家族的资产。Frias家族还控制着巴西报纸《圣保罗页报》。

　　Portugal Telecom currently holds a 45% stake in the company and the Frias family holds the remaining 55%， 38% of which is in ordinary shares and 22% in preferential shares without voting rights.目前，葡萄牙电信持有该公司的45%股份，Frias家族持有剩下的55%，其中38%是普通股，22%是没有投票权的优先股。

　　Of the total IPO， 10% of the shares are to be sold to retail buyers.首次公开发行中，10%的股票将出售给零散的买主。

　　UOL was created in 1996 and is one of the largest portals and Internet Service Providers in Brazil， with a round 1.4 million subscribers with an estimated value of US$857 million. UOL成立于1996年，是巴西的互联网服务提供商，有140万用户，评估价值为8.57亿美元。
