　　 From 2000 to 2006, because my mom went to Canada to study and work, I had been to Canada to visit her for 5 times. The longest period I stayed there was about 4 months. First time, I stayed in a house in Toronto. It is in the downtown area. We stayed there because it is very near to the China town and the University of Toronto. That is an old house. We stayed on the first floor. We shared house with house-owner and another three Chinese families. And 3 families shared one kitchen. The second place i had stayed is Brampton, which is a city not far from Toronto,And i stayed in a apartment near city center.I would stroll along the street every day. The difference here lies in the apartment, where more comprehensive facilities, swimming pools and laundary were all available.

　　Among so many flight journeys from China to Canada and from Canada back to China, there were 2 journeys that I can not forget. One was in May, 2003, when Beijing was experienced the severe outbreak of SARS. My mum worried about me, so she came back to Beijing on May 2nd, and brought me to Canada the next day. During the 20 hours’ journey from Beijing to Vancouver and Vancouver to Toronto, we had a mask and a pair of disposable medical gloves almost all the time except the 3 meals on flight. Everybody on the flight was so nervous and serious that they even did not talk to each other. My mum also warned me not to touch anywhere with bare hands, even not to touch my clothes and hair! After going to washroom, I had to wash my hands for 4-5 times! It was such a long and unbearable journey! Of course, we also quarantined ourselves for one week at home.

　　Another journey that was not forgettable was the one in July 2005 when I was 7 years old. Both my mum and dad were not able to take leave from work to accompany me to Canada, so I had to take the flight alone. That was an 11 hours’ flight directly from Beijing to Toronto, I did not need to transfer in Vancouver. I think that might be one of the factors that my mum and dad could make their minds to let me take the flight alone. I remember that when I agreed to take the flight alone, I was so proud of myself that I thought I was not a boy anymore, I was a superman! But one day before the flight, I began to regret about the decision. And when my dad drove me to the Beijing International Airport, I even prayed the plane would not be there!

　　The school building was different from Chinese one, it only had one floor, it was made of wood, and the floor was matted with carpet. The playground was very big; there was nothing but a little yellow grass on it. There were some monkey bars and a sand pit besides the school building. I liked my school life very much, it was colorful. Every day we had show time, one student could bring a toy to school and told us the story about his toy, we asked him questions, and he selected questions to answer, just like he was a teacher. But that time I didn `t know how to speak English, so I usually talked to my mom in Chinese, and my mom helped me to say. Every day I went to the library to borrow books and returned on the second day. Every week, we had one market day at noon. On market day, every one could sell anything he didn’t need anymore, and you could bargain with him. During the holiday, each of us would take a box of chocolate for sale; the school used this money to buy equipment for students.

　　On Saturdays, i used to buy food with my mom in the china town. Then we ate dinner in a Chinese restaurant. Then I always went to my friend –Difei `s home. Beside their backyard there was a big park. We always played football in the park. On Sunday I always went to the Wonderful land. It is like Disneyland. That time I was scared of roller coaster. But I always played some games and watched 3D or 4D movie in the park.
